This Privacy Policy applies to the For Friends mobile application (the “App”), operated by For Friends B.V. (“For Friends”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
For Friends is a social platform that enables users to connect with friends, share content, and discover places, experiences, and recommendations. Protecting your privacy is important to us. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are
For Friends B.V., registered in the Netherlands. For Friends B.V. is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the For Friends mobile application.
It does not apply to:
the For Friends informational website, which is governed by a separate privacy policy; or
third-party websites or services that you access via links in the App.

When you create an account or use the App, you may provide us with:

Please note that we cannot control how other users use content once it is visible to them (for example, taking screenshots).

For Friends does not process payments within the App;
Any booking or transaction takes place directly with the third party;
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

To maintain a safe and respectful environment, we may:
review content or accounts that are reported or flagged;
remove content that violates our community guidelines or terms;
restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts in cases of misuse.

9. Retention of personal data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

User content: retained until deleted by you or removed under our policies

After account deletion, some data may remain in backups for a limited period before being permanently erased.
